Glen Eagle Golf Course is a championship 18-hole layout at Naval Support Activity Mid-South in Millington, Tennessee. Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates and opened in 1957, the course has served the military community and the greater Memphis area for nearly seven decades. Open to both MWR authorized patrons and the general public, Glen Eagle offers one of the best-value golf experiences in West Tennessee on a well-maintained facility that punches well above its price point.
From the gold tees the course plays to 6,895 yards, while the black tees offer 6,435 yards with a course rating of 71.5 and slope of 139 — a genuinely demanding test that rewards accuracy and course management. The layout includes four par-3 holes, ten par-4s, and four par-5s, spread across a landscape featuring 48 strategically placed sand traps. TifEagle Bermuda greens provide consistent, fast putting surfaces that hold their quality throughout the Tennessee summer.
Beyond the main course, Glen Eagle's practice facilities are among the strongest of any public facility in the region. The driving range, putting green, chipping area, and a unique 140-yard practice hole give golfers ample opportunity to warm up or work on specific shots before or after their round. PGA professionals are on staff for lessons, and the well-stocked pro shop carries top brands including Titleist, Callaway, Puma, and FootJoy alongside club rental and repair services. First tee times run from 7:30 AM weekdays and 7:00 AM on weekends.
