Honky Tonk National Golf Course is a championship private club perched above the waters of Center Hill Lake in Sparta, Tennessee. Designed by the team of PGA professional Peter Jacobsen and golf instructor Jim Hardy, the course opened in 2023 and plays 6,900 yards with a par of 72. Seven tee options — with slope ratings ranging from 109 to 130 and course ratings from 62.9 to 73.1 — make the course accessible to players of all skill levels while preserving genuine championship challenge from the back.

Jacobsen and Hardy's design philosophy emphasizes natural terrain over manufactured difficulty. The routing flows through rolling Middle Tennessee hillsides with dramatic elevation changes and panoramic vistas of Center Hill Lake visible from multiple holes. The variety of terrain ensures that no two holes feel alike, with the lake views adding a distinctive visual dimension to the round that's unusual for an inland Tennessee course.

The course follows USGA rules with thoughtful local modifications and includes a full practice facility, pro shop, bar and restaurant, and on-site lodging for extended stays.
